Trainees from the prior D43 came from institutions across Thailand and have become emerging leaders in NCD research in their institutions and are building collaboration hubs for further NCD research. The research ‘hubs’ are informally comprised of trainees, mentors and collaborators focusing on research in similar NCD diseases, symptoms or treatment methods. The hubs are maintained by formal and informal meetings through virtual communication platforms to share research approaches.
